Welcome! My name is Brooke Walker of Exceptionally Effective Esquire. I have spent decades working in the legal industry. I am the daughter of a very successful attorney, and you could say I cut my teeth on law books while my dad was passing his first bar exam.I love attorneys. I watched for years while my dad passionately fought for the clients he represented. He worked 60 hours a week on average. He built his own law firm and was clearing six figures in the early nineties. He was also never home. He nearly burned out and he will tell you today he feels like he suffers from PTSD from his career as an attorney. I don't think this is unique for this industry. Attorney well-being isn't something that has been recognized and it is costing the industry and the people who need it.
